That’s the way for Cantina Tollo to tell her story, a magic and everlasting tie between man and nature.


Grapes full with history. The proud of Tollo since Roman times, which continues through the centuries to our days. The passion for wine making embraces and caresses each grape over a 3500 hectares territory stretching between the sea and the mountain. This passion has the noble end of creating excellent wines.

In a perfect climatic balance made from the mild breeze of the Adriatic Sea and the temperature excursion, the texture of the terroir becomes naturally privileged. So, operating in a long lasting oenological culture and in a unique territory, Cantina Tollo meets the requirements of a demanding market and satisfies the consumers’ taste and expectations with unmistakable sensations.

For more than 10 years Cantina Tollo selects the best grapes for the best wines. The best terroir are cultivated following Cantina Tollo agronomic guidelines in collaboration with the partners that are paid according to the surface instead of the quantity of the grapes.

This system incentives the quality of the production that must respect the Cantina agronomists’ and oenologists’ instructions. Pruning, compost, bunch thinning (sometimes up to 50%) and harvesting are managed by Cantina Tollo on the basis of some precise objectives and guidelines. The period for vintage is decided by Cantina Tollo’s experts, that operate in the first half of the morning, so that the grapes harvested by hand in the coolest hours reach the winery to guarantee the best quality.
